The Pilates Method works the body as a whole, emphasizing body alignment and correct breathing. Better posture is achieved by building strength and flexibility in a balanced way throughout the body. You will focus on “how” to do the exercises, not simply “what” to do, creating a body/mind connection. The support created by the core/“powerhouse” flows outward to the extremities, making every Pilates exercise a whole body workout.
Every session is highly supervised. You will receive feedback, suggestions on how to improve your form, or ways to modify an exercise to better suit your needs.
